Plot Synopsis

A blue collar wife and mother who is a church organist, finds her marriage to her beer swilling-sports watching husband to be less than exciting. She soon enters into an affair with a prominent member of the church, a well respected, married doctor. When the philandering physician's wife is found murdered in her bed the community is shocked to learn the good doctor is the prime suspect. Although he tries to frame his ex- mistress, he eventually confesses to the crime. She testifies against her ex-lover while she and her husband find the strength to forgive and rebuild their marriage.
