Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by David Protess. In 1988, Illinois couple, Cyndi and David Dowaliby, are accused of the murder of their 7 year old daughter who was abducted from their home while they were asleep. In a rush to judgment by police, politicians and the media, David is brought to trial and found guilty for the child's death. After spending two years in prison, his conviction is over-turned on appeal. The murder has never been solved.
