Plot Synopsis
Based on the Book by Evan Wright. This seven-part miniseries follows the young U.S. Marines of the elite First Reconnaissance Battalion, whose unit is part of the first wave of the American military assault on Baghdad in 2003. This group of soldiers are the first American combat units baptized in the horrors of Iraq's terrifying guerrilla war which takes a personal toll on the troops as they experience the randomness, brutality and camaraderie of a new American War.
