Plot Synopsis

A rebellious Lakota teen reluctantly takes his 87 year-old storytelling grandfather from their South Dakota reservation to a grand gathering of Native Americans in New Mexico. During the journey the old man recalls the ancient lore of his people which serves to teach his grandson valuable life lessons. Through the parallels in the stories to his own life, the teen comes to understand and eventually embrace his proud heritage.
