Plot Synopsis
A wealthy Georgia girl defies southern traditions and leaves for journalism school at Berkeley during the radical days of the 1960's. When her fiance is killed in Vietnam she heads off to Saigon as a correspondent for a San Francisco paper. Determined to make sense of the war she soon becomes a well respected reporter and eventually falls in love again with a sergeant who winds up missing in action. Refusing to believe he is dead she sets out on a mission to find her man.
