Plot Synopsis
Based on books by Bill and Joseph Bonanno. The life of Joseph Bonanno one of America's most powerful Mafia Dons. From his birth in 1904 Sicily, to his rise to the top ranks of the Mafia family he ran for 37 years, Bonanno's life was guided by an ancient code of honor. He witnessed Prohibition, the gang wars of the 30's, the deportation of Lucky Luciano, the Kefauver hearings and the Kennedy assassination.
