Plot Synopsis

GOOD FOOD AMERICA is a half-hour reality series that follows a professional chef who travels across America to discover restaurants that support local food purveyors, while sharing secrets of their signature dishes. In each 30-minute episode of the first season, Chef Nathan Lyon, former NEXT FOOD NETWORK STAR finalist and author of "Great Food Starts Fresh," visited two farm-to-table restaurants, including: Southpaw's Organic Grill in Dallas, TX; Lark in Seattle, WA; Tin Shed Garden Cafe in Portland, OR; Zazu in Santa Rosa, CA; Miya's Sushi in New Haven, CT; It's Only Natural Restaurant in Middletown, CT; and eateries in other cities, like Berkeley, San Francisco, Saint Augustine, Chicago, Milwaukee, New York City and more. On Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 9pm ET, Veria Living aired two, back-to-back, sneak peek episodes. Three days later, on Saturday, July 7, 2012, the network showed the same two episodes as the official series premiere at 9pm ET.

GOOD FOOD AMERICA returned for its second season on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 9pm ET on the newly renamed Z Living (fka Veria Living) with a new host, Danny Boome. In each half-hour episode of the second season, Danny visits three restaurants, including: Chianti il Ristorante (Saratoga Springs, NY); Fore Street (Portland, ME); Bon Me (Boston, MA); Cedar Point Bar and Kitchen (Philadelphia, PA); Nick's on Broadway (Providence, RI); Oleana (Boston, MA); Scarlett Begonias (Santa Barbara, CA); Ace (Denver, CO); Pasion Latin Fusion (Albuquerque, NM); Earth (Kennebunkport, ME); Strangelove's (Philadelphia, PA); Castle Hill (Newport, RI); Beuchert's Saloon (Washington, DC); Nine Mile (Asheville, NC); Bistro Bobette (Richmond, VA); Henrietta's Table (Boston, MA); Mouzon House (Saratoga Springs, NY); Asterick (Newport, RI); and more.
