AllTheLooks.com: The Future Site of Celebrity Fashion
Mike Vicic - March 26, 2009
Did you ever wish there was something like TV Tango for celebrity fashion? Somewhere you could search for Eva Longoria, Jon Hamm or some other fave celebrity to see what they're wearing today, what they wore last year at the Emmys, or how their hairstyles changed during their careers. Basically a place you could see all the looks of any celeb.
Lifetime TV is hoping you'd use a site like that because it's going to be called AllTheLooks.com.
How do I know? Two reasons.
First, on March 18, 2009 Lifetime Entertainment Services filed a document with the US Trademark & Patent Office to protect the phrase 'All the Looks' for "Entertainment services, namely, providing a searchable website on a global computer network featuring photographs of celebrity fashion and celebrity hairstyles and information on celebrities, fashion designers, hairstyles and fashion and beauty events." Can't get any clearer than that.
Next, I found that two weeks earlier -- on March 3, 2009 to be exact -- John DiSpirito registered the domain name, allthelooks.com. Nothing about Lifetime until you look at the admin email, dnsadmin(at)lifetimetv(dot)com. And if you search for John DiSpirito, you'll find that he's a Sr. Network Engineer at Lifetime Entertainment Services.
Of course I emailed John requesting some additional information about the site. And, as always, I received no reply.
Personally, I'm kind of surprised that Lifetime is taking on this type of project. It seems much better suited for E!
