Jessica’s dead body goes missing, and Franklin pays her a visit. Sam’s family comes to town but causes trouble at Merlotte’s. Eric gives his top salesman a gift, but Lafayette is hesitant to accept it. Jason prepares to take a police exam.

Ray gets flak from Lenore for being too gentle with a pregnant client. Lenore continues to belittle Tanya, who turns to another pimp, Charlie, for advice. In order to show Ray that he needs her, she elects not to take her cut until she proves her worth to him. Jessica tries to get her life back on track. Ray learns that the sports budget at the school has been cut considerably.

Vince is starring in the new Nick Cassavetes movie, and has a hard time saying no when Nick asks him to do his own stunts. Desperate to seem like a team player, Vince asks Eric and Ari to get him out of it. Turtle decides not to fire one of his employees who keeps screwing up because he’s attracted to her. Drama discovers that he needs to get cast in a pilot or risk being dropped by the network. Ari gets in trouble with Mrs. Ari.

The Good Guys – "$3.52" (6/28/10) |

After Dan’s blatant disregard for procedure sets a criminal free, he becomes determined to put him back in jail all by himself with nothing more than the $3.52 in his pocket. Dan enlists Julius’ help, promising him a reduced parole sentence, and Julius panics when Dan goes missing and desperately embarks on a rescue mission. Dan and Jack’s off-the-books operation takes them far out of their district’s jurisdiction.

The girls communally celebrate their birthdays and decide to get each other dates as gifts. Elka has the best success, meeting an 88-year-old gentleman eager to get married. Victoria forgets to find Joy a date, and after paying a stranger to pose as her dream guy, she worries that he might be a wanted murderer. Victoria is disturbed by her date’s breasts, while Melanie’s date obsesses over her resemblance to his dead wife.

Michael tries to set a trap for Kendra in order to interrogate her but continually finds himself outsmarted. Madeline refers a friend of hers to Michael who needs help defending a clinic from resident drug dealers. Michael tries to help and has to contend with the clinic’s doctor, who refuses to let Jesse, Fiona, and Sam protect him. Madeline and Fiona become impatient with Michael’s strategies for taking care of the dealers.

Evan’s kidnappers turn out to be relatives of the bartender, and they fetched him because they thought he was Hank. The bartender’s uncle needs private emergency medical care because he is a presumed-dead enemy of the state in Cuba. Hank treats him while simultaneously keeping an eye on Boris. Dr. Peck and Divya continue to butt heads, and Divya tries to prove that she has female friends by hanging out with Jill.
